★ Biography:

Himura Shin was born of a Japanese father and a Hong Kong mother. He also has a brother named Rui that’s a year older than him. Their father is owner of a watch company and his mother is an accountant at a major firm in Hong Kong. Their mother has a very traditional way of thinking which often conflicted with how Shin was taught by his father. As a result, Shin would act in according to behaviors that their mother approved of. He would listen to their mother’s complaints and speak less in front of her in case his opinion conflicted with hers to avoid her exploding on him. As a result, Shin became the type knows more than he lets on and pretends to be dumb at times. Although he may be preoccupied by various tasks he is always actively listening to conversations around him and is usually in the loop with the latest gossips and rumors. Despite so, he tends to keep what he has overheard to himself.

Shin's parents divorced when he was fifteen after years of ongoing arguments between them in regards to the difference in which how to raise Rui and Shin. It is then that his father decided to send the two boys over to their aunt so that he could focus more on his business. The aunt insisted the boys to attend Hoshizora High since, fulfilling an adolescent dream of hers of attending the school.
